In spring 2012 I closed my Delcampe sales because I was just too frustrated with the slowness of the site. 2012 has been a challenging year for Delcampe and apparently they decided it was time to do something.
They are currently working on infrastructure to ensure speed and stability. This is indeed an important improvement.
The log in problem seems to be gone. There was a time I was unable to even log into my account.
So I went back and restart all my sales on my seller’s account. I dropped moneybookers (now Skrill) as a form of payment because it is just too much hassle.
I have always been fond of Delcampe, especially as a buyer because this is seriously the best place to find those low value stamps and collectibles. Patience is needed because there is quite a lot of crap (I mean how many pages of used 1p Machin head does a seller need to list….) but overall navigation is now easier than it was. You can now cut at the source all those annoying “European checks only” sellers and show Paypal sellers only. Saves a lot of time.
Have you been using Delcampe yourself? As a buyer, seller or both?
